Therapeutic Foster Care provides special training and support to foster families who embrace children with mental, emotional and behavioral disabilities. Our goal is to help these children to experience success in a family environment and develop lasting meaningful relationships.
Therapeutic foster parents are special people who care about children and their futures. They are people who want to make a difference.
A 35-hour intensive training program is required of all foster parents. A 24-hour a day crisis intervention system ensures access to trained staff at all times. Ongoing training and support is available to all foster families.
