The
High 5 School Challenge
Grant will provide resources to develop
and implement program aimed at enhancing physical education curriculum for
Special Needs students in grades 1 – 12.
Pittsburgh, PA November 4, 2010 – The Bradley Center has
been awarded a Highmark Healthy High 5 School Challenge grant of $8,709.00 to
implement Building Lives of Possibility
through Physical Education, a program that will provide students with
enhanced physical activity. With rates
of childhood obesity on the rise, this grant will support The Bradley Center’s
efforts to help students adopt healthy behaviors that will stay with them for a
lifetime.
Building
Lives of Possibility through Physical Education will purchase equipment to
enhance the physical education program for 100 children in grades 1 – 12.

$5.5 million to over 750 grants to schools in 49 counties across
